Jabones Esotéricos

Genial diseño de empaque en jabones mexicanos.

Si alguna vez has ido a un mercado en México seguramente has encontrado estos geniales jabones. Siempre llamaron mi atención por su diseño y leyendas un poco chistosas y sin sentido.

Estos jabones están diseñados con una estética kitch y un enfoque esotérico que los hace inconfundibles, atractivos e inmediatamente los quieres coleccionar; yo lo hice pero terminé por tirarlos ya que estoy en una nueva etapa de no acumular. 😛

Los diseños de estos jabones incluyen imágenes simbólicas, como velas, estrellas, manos, ojos y otros elementos místicos que representan conceptos espirituales y de protección. Los jabones esotéricos de México son un ejemplo fascinante de diseño de empaque que combina elementos culturales, espirituales y visuales únicos.

Si vas a un mercadito búscalos, hay unos títulos tan geniales que seguro te harán reir.

40 Years of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds

Their ability to transcend labels and genres makes Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds exceptional. Cave is a multidisciplinary artist in the fullest sense of the word. He doesn't limit himself to music; his forays into literature, film, and poetry have enriched his work in a way that defies time and space. Seeing him in concert is magical. In 2018 I was fortunate enough to see him in CDMX. Beautiful.

Better Call Saul

A Magnificent Art Direction by Vince Gilligan.

I know it's been a while since this series ended but since it has an extremely special place in my heart I'm uploading this post just because.

The beauty of Better Call Saul. Beyond the incredible characters and the incredible story of each of them, this series has impeccable art direction.

The photography stands out for its care in visual composition, the use of lighting, and the choice of color palettes. These elements contribute to the construction of the emotional narrative, highlighting key moments and revealing subtle details of the characters' psychology.

Together, the art direction and cinematography in “Better Call Saul” are essential to building a visually captivating and authentic world. These aspects not only support the narrative but also add layers of meaning and complexity to the story, making the viewer's experience even more immersive and memorable.

Christine Spengler

A French War Photographer.

I discovered Christine Spengler for an exhibition in Paris. I was very amazed by her shots and her art direction. When I was looking for her on the internet I found that she is a Writer too. It will be great to read something to know her vision as a writer.

I am very excited to discover artists who use their creativity even in highly vulnerable situations, like war in this case.

Christine Spengler is a French war photographer. Since 1970, she has photographed and reported on conflicts, primarily from the point of view of the victims of war. She was born in France in 1945. She is still alive (2024) and still working as a Photographer.

KIT-CAT CLOCK ♥

A beautiful Vintage clock.

El reloj Kit-Cat fue inventado por primera vez en 1932 en Oregón por el diseñador Earl Arnault (1904-1971). The Allied Clock Company se fundó en Portland, Oregón, para fabricar estos relojes. El reloj Kit-Cat es tradicionalmente negro, pero hay modelos disponibles en otros colores y estilos.

Su parecido con Felix the Cat es asombroso y la productora de Felix the Cat lo notó inmediatamente. Existió una demanda en 2004, ya que los fabricantes de Kit-Cat Clock se referían a él en línea como el "Reloj Félix".

A lo largo de su historia llegó a tener algunos cambios muy importantes en su diseño original, en los años 40´s y
50´s se realizaron los últimos cambios en su diseño.

☞ Lady Kit-Cat

Durante los años 90´s comenzaron a fabricarse los primeros Kit-Cats de edición limitada en color, incluido el primer Kitty Cat de tamaño 3/4 que se introdujo en 1996. No pasó mucho tiempo antes de que Lady Kit-Cat explotara por primera vez añadiendo al diseño perlas y pestañas.

☞ 2007

Para el 75.° aniversario se fabricó el Kit Cat Klock más grande del mundo con 190.5 cms de alto y un Ford Deuce de 75 años, especialmente pintado para celebrar. Hubo 75 eventos en todo el país, incluidos desfiles y exhibiciones de autos.

Después de 85 años, Kit-Cat sigue demostrando que es verdaderamente "Atemporal y genial", ya que según las cifras se vende un Kit-Cat Klock cada 3 minutos.

☞ 2020

Reebok realizó una colaboración con Kit-Cat, que incluye un par de tenis y un reloj único edición especial.

Regalo para Riki por su cumpleaños. ♥

Siempre es genial regalar a alguien lo que le gusta o emociona. Riki cumplió años y Frank Zappa es su músico favorito, así que le pedí a mi talentosisísimo amigo Nef Espino que me hiciera una ilustración de Frank Zappa para su regalo de cumpleaños.
