Better Call Saul

A Magnificent Art Direction by Vince Gilligan.

I know it's been a while since this series ended but since it has an extremely special place in my heart I'm uploading this post just because.

The beauty of Better Call Saul. Beyond the incredible characters and the incredible story of each of them, this series has impeccable art direction.

The photography stands out for its care in visual composition, the use of lighting, and the choice of color palettes. These elements contribute to the construction of the emotional narrative, highlighting key moments and revealing subtle details of the characters' psychology.

Together, the art direction and cinematography in “Better Call Saul” are essential to building a visually captivating and authentic world. These aspects not only support the narrative but also add layers of meaning and complexity to the story, making the viewer's experience even more immersive and memorable.

Momchhichi

A beautiful vintage Toy.

Monchhichi is a Japanese character from the Sekiguchi Corporation, released in 1974. The Monchhichis cartoon series produced by Hanna-Barbera arrived in Mexico in the 1980s. Monchhichi was created by Yoshiharu Washino. Sekiguchi claims that they created these characters to inspire respect and love in children and young adults.

The line of dolls started in 1975 in Germany and Austria. In the following years, the Monchhichi was marketed in more countries, finally arriving in Mexico in the '80s.
I used to watch the show when I was little and I loved it. Now as an adult I can see them again and I still like them the same 😊

Ozark

The Symbols and their meaning at the beginning of each episode.

Ozark is a great series that has cost me work to continue watching since it takes them years to launch each season and by the time the new one comes out I have to see the previous one to understand. Even so, it is one of my favorite series and it has something that I love: in the intro of each episode the titles appear with a letter O and four sections inside, in each of them there is a symbol or icon that is different in each episode and reveals what is about to happen.

Although it is a very original way of separating each episode, I also find the use of semiotics great because of the intrigue that it gives you as a spectator when trying to solve what is about to happen by having seen the symbols.
I've been thinking of having some symbol T-shirts made just for fun. 🙃

TWIN PEAKS

Una pequeña colección en mi tablero número ❷ de Pinterest sobre Twin Peaks. Twin Peaks es una serie de televisión estadounidense de misterio, terror y drama creada por Mark Frost y David Lynch. 🙃

Terminó trágicamente debido a su baja audiencia. Por suerte, como fan, tuve la oportunidad de ver el misterio resuelto en sus tres temporadas. Esto me recuerda la triste pérdida de "Carnivàle", otra genial serie que con solo dos temporadas y baja audiencia nos dejó sufriendo para siempre su final. ☹
