Under the mask is mostly likely nigerian actor Bolaji Badejo, personally chosen by Ridley Scott. From imdb: His role as the title character (the Alien) in Alien (1979) was practically ...
The suave Ricou Browning as the Creature from the Black Lagoon (1954) was his first foray into films. Not only did Browning perform the underwater stunts for the two Creature sequels (making him the only actor to appear in all three films in the series), but he also went on the produce the film Flipper (1963) and, most notably, direct the underwater action scenes for the James Bond blockbuster, Thunderball (1965).

Brooke Didonato

Cool surreal photographs mixing textures and pastel colors.

An Ohio-born photographer who mixes everyday scenes with the most surreal perspectives like no one else.

An art direction in a color palette and very careful settings + generally characters with their hidden faces present us with these great photographic stories to tell. The narrative simplicity that he uses in his photographs is his main attraction.

DiDonato studied journalism and became a photojournalist. He says in his biography that realizing that it was not really what he liked, he decided to dedicate himself to photographic art.

Its characters are located mostly in everyday environments, although we also see them among the flora or other spaces where they can hide parts of their bodies such as water or asphalt. The idea is that the viewer always has a story free to interpretation (which I love).

Mary Ellen Mark

Photo Journalism far from Mainstream society.

Horror Art by Aaron B. Heimlich.

Love is ... finding great things on the internet like this.

Horror Art by Aaron B. Heimlich.

Some time ago I came across the series of photomontages by Aaron B. Heimlich and I was fascinated by the simplicity of his art. About the artist's project: “Shedim is a Hebrew word to call a benevolent demon. They live with us and are always around us, the fact that we don't see them is because we have to open our eyes and our minds more. ” In the series, Heimlich reminds us that these demons are there and he does it using old photographs. This aims to demonstrate that the Shedim accompanies us in all kinds of everyday situations, whether in a graduation ceremony, nursery, hairdressing or even in our own home.

Enjoy! ☻

GREAT MOVIE POSTERS

This is a selection of movie posters that I like for their design and composition. The typography used in each of them; In my opinion, it was beautifully executed. I have always found it extremely important to pay attention to the art of a movie's poster, since it is one of the first impressions that the viewer has before seeing it and it can definitely play an important role in whether they decide to see it or not.
Enjoy! ☻
